OU and TX are still playing in the Big12 this fall and they meet that Saturday morning for the RRR in the Cotton Bowl. The game has Big12 title implications. The chant SEC-SEC starts in a nationally televised Big12 game.
  2. When this broke I was on board. Upon further review I think it ends up being a bad deal for everyone except the SEC.

  3. B10, P10, ACC. Minor conferences - AAC and sunbelt. Maybe.

Sounds like ESPN’ll get their super conferences.
  4. Bama must be loving this, if they move to the weaker east that is. Even with Bama gone the SEC west will still be the premier division in all of college football. And Bama will almost be guaranteed a trip to the championship every year.

  6. That’s funny.
  7. Texas and OU are not exactly “Southeastern.” We’re getting a lil over center here.
  8. Just wait. SEC is accurate relative to what some of these others will do.

  10. Funny you mention center when these schools are south, and east, of "center" if we're looking at Lebanon, KS. Austin may be a "little" west, but not by much. (X,Y Axis graph using center point of United States.)
