I hope that both SEC teams make it to the title series. It won't happen however. Both winners of the Arizona/Georgia and SC/Miami game must in turn beat Texas and CSF, respectively, in 2 straight games. Both Texas and CSF will be throwing their top 2 aces. The losers bracket teams will be digging into the 3rd and 4th starter pools. I repeat, it won't happen. That being said, the Texas vs. CSF should be quite a display of pitching talent. I am looking forward to it.
i am going with texas, just because i hate all teams from cali with the exception of UCLA basketball.
CSF is my adopted 2nd favorite college baseball team. I've liked them for awhile now and love watching Kurt Suzuki. The problem with CSF is that they have no bullpen, which is the reason they have 2 CGs from their starters in the CWS. It would be tough for them to pull off the upset, but I am sure hoping that they do it.
Well the coach for CSF sure doesn't care if his starter has to throw 150 pitches. It's not like he cares about their baseball careers after this CWS.
thats not true. coaches usually know when their pitchers have labored through a game causing stress on their arms. Pitch counts are not indicative of this. Windsor threw 145...many can do it without any ill effects. Probably most but pitchers are babied today.
