I'm going to watch the game @ my best friend's house. Her husband went to Tech. I better wear black and red.

24 for Tech would be a shock to me.

OU's porous defense always rears it's ugly head in big games (see 2008 Texas/OU and the past 4-5 BCS games)

If I could give your a good star I would...

I think that every Big 12 D has pores that could be exposed by SEC teams. This is why I am hoping everything works out for a SEC/Big 12 BCSCG.

It would be a shock to me as well -- that 2 was supposed to be a 3.

I think Tech would win at home but I think the difference will be home field. Plus OU's offense is just as good.

I like Tech in this one... I mean how can you not like them? They have a bell ringer..

    Yeah, right!

I'd love to see some SEC teams play in the Big 12 this year. Your defensive stats wouldn't be any better. You guys aren't playing offense like this except for Florida.

    Check out the NCAA Stats.

    Link to Total Offense Stats

There are 6 Big 12 Teams in the Top 10. There are zero SEC teams.

There are 5 Big 12 Teams in the Top 10. There is one SEC team, Florida.

It is a very unusual year in the Big 12 with so many high powered offense and multiple Heisman QB candidates.

If the same were true of the SEC this year, folks would most likely be saying that the SEC doesn't play defense anymore.

    It's a no win situation.

    btw,

    my prediction is
    OU 48
    Tech 31

I can post stats on the history of the two teams and current NCAA stats for both teams if anyone is interested in seeing them.
