I got a letter from a Tx Reg agency but it did not specify where to pick up plates. I live in Keller. How did you find out where to go/geaux?
After I got the letter, I was downtown by the tax office so decided to stop in and check. They had it there. It was almost $60.00 bucks by the time they added their other fees in. First one in town though! :grin:
I will be ordering some today. Just want to keep my personalized plate though. Took long enough to get that.
I picked mine up Friday. There aren't any fees you just have to pay the difference in registration. ie, my old plates expire in July and the new LSU ones expire in January. I had to pay for the extra 6 months which was $35. One thing that sucks is my LSU Alumni license plate frame covers the Geaux Tigers at the bottom.
I guess I should pay closer attn to invoices. They gave me a number and I wrote a check - just tickled to get the plates.
I know because I made them explain what they were charging me for. I said, "I already paid for these why do you want more money?"
