They not only pushed one another, they pulled for one another. They even put in extra practice time catching one-handers together too. I'm sure either's agent would tell you that either player would probably say of the other, "You complete me."

Maybe it should be. Has OBJ or Jarvis ever made the cover of these magazines?

Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry will put on a 'receiving show'

Two of the most explosive and exciting wide receivers in the NFL will have a pregame "receiving show" this upcoming season.

Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, former LSU teammates, will engage in some sort of catching competition during pregame warmups when the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins play each other on Monday Night Football on December 14th according to FOX Sports reporter Alex Marvez.

There aren't many details trickling in as to what the two are planning, but Beckham and Landry are both virtuosos of the one-handed catch, so stay tuned. This could be the most thrilling throwdown since the Zoolander vs. Hansel Walk-Off Challenge.

This much hype usually ends in a flame out. Careful odell.

I'm a dolphin fan, so I want Landry's ceiling to be as high as possible, I believed Odell to be the better receiver coming out, and it looks to be the case in the pros, but I'm wondering why the fans who watched him for 3 years think he's better than this sensation OBJ..

I know he has high football intellect, a large catch radius, exceptional hands and off the charts intangibles, yet lacks some size and speed, so like I said, I'm trying to figure out how to put these things into context and not judge his ceiling to early just because of two limitations, also trying to understand how a player like Odell, who is pretty much considered a superstar in the NFL at this point, would not be the choice of the two if it came down it..

from listening to you folks I'm getting the picture.

I don't think either of these receivers are clearly better than the other. They have both been fairly evenly matched all along. Not identical, but equally effective.
