For being the head coach during the booster payments. @TigerTap https://www.si.com/college/2020/10/21/lsu-football-self-imposed-sanctions-ncaa "In its favor, LSU no longer employs two high-ranking athletic department members, athletic director Joe Alleva and football coach Les Miles, who were in their positions during the booster payments. The booster payments were the most serious of a three-pronged investigation into the program that began in late 2018." Glad we fired him in time.
I posted that same thread at 1pm in the Bama/Georgia thread. Do you believe Miles knew anything about this booster at all? Glad we fired Miles in time to maintain subpar Cholly Mac as the coach who won the most games in 18 years at LSU? This is why we can't ever have several great coaches, like other schools have.
Thats a good one. I was thinking about this. All 3 LSU coaches to win a national title got their 1st here. Must be something about our great school! Even a shrimp boat captain can win one!
I mean, has anyone even considered, this shit that happened under Miles could likely tank our program for 4 years. NCAA doesn't have to accept this and can drop the hammer. We could end up losing over 20 schollys..... Then again, AU got away with paying for Cam and Will Wade is still Will Wade'ing....
