Marriota declared that he is coming back to Oregon in 2014. So that's good news for Mett's draft stock, one less QB in the mix. Just looking around at some publications and their rankings of QBs for the draft, this is pretty much the average: 1. Bridgewater 2. Manziel 3. Carr (Fresno State) 4. Mettenberger 5. Hundley The next 6 are Morris, Boyd, Murray, Hogan, Petty and McCarron, in no particular order. These guys are probably going to go 2nd to 4th rounds. Morris has the best chance to climb into the 1st round with a great showing at the combines. Mariota was 2nd on most people's list. So definitely a big deal he is staying.
I think when they actually work Mettenberger out and see his pro day, and if Landry and Beckham are at that pro day as well, his stock will go Waaaaaaaaaaaaay up.
