It is a shame he isn't going to get the opportunity to finish out the season. I truly hate seeing kids get hurt.

    My sincere condolences . .

    I didn't realize

that it would be something that would end his playing days completely!

That is downright tragic . .

do you really think it will end his football career ?!

also what do you think of the chances of him getting a medical redshirt ?

I'm sorry but I disagree. It doesn't seem to be as bad a break as you think. According to an ESPN.com article, it will be at least 6 weeks. I say, he's done for the season but not his career.

With Toefield, I've believed he bulked up in a way where he's been carrying too much weight on a frame that's not meant to carry as much weight.

It's just my opinion, but he's also been hurt constantly since HS.

    Toe

has always run with such force and determination that I was concerned from the start about injuries. Very difficult for a player who dishes out so much punishment to stay injury free. He needs a break and I hope he can generate enough production, when he come back, to get a good NFL contact.

It sounds like he's gone for the season, but I would think he could play football again. They reported it was a clean break. I can't see him being a high draft pick next year because of the history of injuries so maybe we'll get him for one more year. We could sure use him with DD moving on. It seems like he could only help his stock by returning and having a big year.

He'll be gone for the season, but I think he'll return next year and have a stellar year and go in the 1st or 2nd round in the draft.
