Hmmmm he still seems a bit "upset", about the "spanking" they took at the hands of a sister SEC school...and lets face it for what it is, a true old fashioned "Azzzzzzzz" kicking. "Southern style". Best be careful, he "might" be facing that same crowd in NO, and get "another" old fashioned "Azzzzzzzz" kicking, "Tiger style"! BTW, we LSU fans would "never" riot, we're far too "sophisticated" for that sort of thing...hehe :tigereye:

the article loses cred with me for having lambeau in there. never been, but dont see how its a tough venue because it has history. its not big or loud. maybe tough when its cold, but then just chose some soccer fields in finland.

i wouldve considered putting cameron indoor on the list.

I got it! I thought it was funny, myself.

Pretty impressive not only that Tiger Stadium in only one of three U.S. venues listed in the article, but that it is the TOP U.S. venue (above Yankee Freaking Stadium!). :tigereye:

Wasn't that a soccer stadium in Afghanistan where the Taliban soldiers were executing the prostitutes and thieves and non-believers ? Now that is a tough venue.

wow, being an avid Boca Juniors fan (2nd in line of course to our beloved Tigers), this list brings a giant smile to my face.

Having been to La Bombonera, I can say it cannot really compete with Tiger Stadium (30k less fans) as far as noise goes, but it is as intimidating and threatening a venue as you will find. The fans are right on top of the field, it is a big box (the name literally means "chocolate box") and all of the noise stays inside the stadium.

personally though, i'd tie it with TS at #1

If we are including non-sports venues, then my vote is for the Varsity!

This place was a pretty tough place to play in. I guess since they don't play here anymore it wasn't considered.
