The 2017 LSU Baseball Season

Figured that. You have all day to get 18 innings in. I may skip it now.

 

Get to see a lot of the pen though. New kid starts 2nd game. I'd go just for that

7 innings lol? This is why it is hard for me to get into college baseball.

Bring back gorilla ball and 9 innings. Is that too much to ask for? If I am being greedy, I want the old Alex Box back too.

Deichmann first AB yard with the gorilla mask. 3-0 Tigers. Lange dealing.

 

9-0 final 7 innings. Deichmann homered first pitch he saw this season. Jake slaughter homered. Only 6 hits but 9 runs with Cole drank having 2 and setting the table.

Lange almost unhittable 5ip 4h 0er 6ks 0bb.

Gilbert pitched the 6th looked rusty bit got the job done. Needs to throw strikes. Austin Bain pitched the final inning was ok.

Bottom of the order looked a little weak, but after only 2/3 of a game, who's gonna judge. Papierski looked weak at the plate and had 2 throws on runners that was off. Hit 1 in the leg sliding which, is never not cool, but safe just the same. Will be interesting to see how coomes performs behind the plate to see if there is any real competition for the gig. I liked coomes at the plate, has a confident swing and took one to the warning track. Time will tell. This Slaughter kid though, for sure the future of the Tigers. Kid is a load

 

I didn't watch the 1st game. Heard Lange looked good. Did anyone watch? How as his control?

 

I thought his control was outstanding. Seemed like he was ahead in the count against most of the batters.
