The 2017 LSU Baseball Season

I think the college baseball game could grow as far as national interest with the addition of tournaments at the start of the season with big-time and/or ranked opponents. Much like college basketball.

 

I was driving around Saturday and when I put the radio on 98.1 to listen to the baseball game Chris Blair was doing the pregame for the basketball game. It would seem like as bad as LSU hoops sucks this year and the preseason ranking of baseball that baseball would take broadcasting precedence

 

That schedule was probably contractually set months ago.

 

If he does the PBP for the basketball game tomorrow night, it will be obvious where Alleva's head is. Hint. It's not on his shoulders. A student manager could do the PBP for the basketball game and no one would notice. THAT"S BECAUSE NO ONE LISTENS

 

If the NFL can do flex scheduling of it's broadcasts LSU should be able to do the same

 

Don't disagree. But the SEC office is likely pushing for basketball over baseball. March madness is still worlds bigger than the CWS

 

I love March Madness but why not do both. Not every basketball game is a North Carolina-Duke or a Kentucky-Kansas. If a previously scheduled LSU-Auburn game looks to be a dud switch to baseball if there is a game that would be a better option

 

Ratings, advertising dollars, & production costs would keep it from happening.

 

Hey, sometimes you could do an entire inning in between LSU baskets.
