It doesn't matter now. Base running was poop. Blame whatever coach you want. I blame the guy at the top.

That was you not me. He doesn't coach the bases. It's lazy but whatever floats your boat.

Les Miles didn't coach QBs either. Lol.

Not saying I want CPM fired, but the base running was poor.

    Glad it all worked out.

He doesn't coach the bases. Les miles and QB play was my argument from jump and all on him. Has nothing to do with baseball and core values of a different sport. Maybe Cain should be replaced. But I still likely send the runner there.

It's all hindsight and I am probably overreacting but Beaux is slow.

I am not sure what the hell Paps was doing either, but he made up for it in a big way.

There was a moment when our 1st 5 hitters were no shows, but they came up big when it mattered.

And if he pulled him he doesn't get the big hit then score which ended up winning the game.

Honestly, Paps and Jordan are the only 2 I would stall there. The rest of the team is fast enough to send but 90 ft. on a tag with a shallow throw, Beaux was the wrong runner to send there. Another 10 or 15 feet on the hit, maybe, but that throw was dead head, no relay and no one hop. Cain shoulda held him. My shitty opinion.

I couldn't find any coverage of this. The Mississippi State player that danced on the second base in the 7th after providing a double and 2 more RBI's. Anyone else wonder if this showboating in Baton Rouge "caused" the LSU rally (at least in part)? I thought, you can rub in the face of LSU at your own peril. Kind of equivalent to an immediate bulletin board material posting.Then...next top of the 8th rally comes up just enough. I know the Mississippi player was just feeling it. But, showboating and presuming "you got this" the way he did, particularly away from his home...Bad Idea buddy.

Could be or maybe the hitters were just due. I don't think emotions play as big a part in baseball as they do in other sports.
