Sorry, I imagine that was in the heat of the moment. Not to say Mainieri doesn't deserve criticism, either. But this was a huge win, so he also deserves credit. Hope we finish em off tonight.

Cody Brown. Yeah I would have walked him and said so to the group I was watching it with. He's legit and dunn knew it.
Because dunn called a 2-0 breaking ball in the first inning to brown. That's respect. And made a trip to the mound right before the double.

But yeah that dance was a bit much. He woulda got one square in the back next time up. The unintentional intentional walk from me.

 

Interesting that we're here criticizing our players and coaches but nobody has talked about Cannizzaro pulling their starter after the 7th inning. Then we lit up the reliever in the 8th, game over.

 

Dudes pitch count was at 100. Had 2 on with 1 out. If anything can be said, at lease Andy won't wear out an arm or force an injury to get a game. I actually respect him for pulling the kid.

 

Hmm. Thunderstorms are predicted for the rest of the week. This will be hard to get the game (s) in at all. Wonder how busy the superdome is?

 

They might be able to play with multiple rain delays. Would play havoc with the pitchers, though.
