Was hoping a good draft showing would influence some of them 18 y/o's to reconsider. Brats

 

Too bad he doesn't bat. Lange could stick a 97 mph heater in his balls.

 

Poche and paps in the 9th. Stros get paps.

 

Paps did himself a lot of favors later in the season finding his bat. I think he would do himself a bigger favor staying another season and raising his stock with his offense. Hard to argue either way. He can develop just as easily and make the show because he is one awesome catcher. I just think there is more coin after putting in a senior season.

Poche is a real hard projection for the pros though. Middle relief or set up at best

 

Poche may get a chance to start. Really like the paps pick. Top 10 picks you can't expectbthem back given the baseball draft is so unpredictable. Mentally they're probably there already anyhow.
