I read somewhere that infielders from the Dominican Republic make a lot fewer errors than their American counterparts. That's because they grow up playing on bumpy, uneven fields that might have some unmowed grass and even a few rocks strewn about instead of the carefully manicured playing surfaces Americans are use to. CPM needs to start recruiting a few Dominican infielders. Not that our infield isn't outstanding.
