CPM giving Deichman the business for answering the pie hole of the pitcher coming home. Clearly not the kind of thing CPM likes. It has been told there are some players CPM just don't get along with. Dunno if this is the case but too bad there coach, this kid is All-American material and you may not have to like it, but you damn sure gonna have to put up with it.

Walker did alright. Young college pitcher is gonna have that day where his 1st inning groove just ain't there. Good lineups are gonna take advantage, we sure do. I think the difference is pre-game warm up. They spoke the other day about Lange's pre-game and said he goes through over 100 throws including the heavy balls before he even throws his 1st recorded pitch. How many times has Lange started a game out of his groove? Not very many. That's the difference IMO.

 

And that's fine, I get that and in this instance you are right, but I was speaking more to the point that there are players that CPM don't get along with. Not really sure if this is the case, but I could imagine anything more than a chat in the dugout just ain't there.
