    The major league minimum salary for rookies was $507,000 for 2016.

    I always think of that when they expand the rosters in September, being called up comes with an $85,000 check.

    Apparently they can afford it. BR doesn't have much of an MLB presence; probably Astros are the closest thing, with the King Cake Babies in NOLA.

    The salaries in milb are garbage. Leverage matters much more than draft position which is why so many high schoolers get drafted so high in general. Even though tenured college players seem to have a better track record. I think I read that before.

    I have no idea what your point is maybe someone can clue me in.

    Anyine hear anything on Walker? The mri must not have been good. No news seems like bad news.

    Nah it wasn't his elbow. Forearm soreness. All pitchers get this. Well except it was unusual for him after a bullpen session.
