Drivel is too kind a word for what you spew. The founders were ALL of European decent and considered themselves Englishmen until they rebelled. The very foundation of what was behind the Declaration and Constitution was the Enlightenment and Western European thought developed in England, France the Low Countries and the German principalities. Nowhere else on earth did a civilization come close to allowing a environment for the beliefs we cherish and the ideals that have fostered the freedom and life we have here. They were all English but not all of English descent. While they were subjects of the King they came from all over norther Europe. Likewise as I noted earlier the theory, philosophy and approach to living was a pan Northern European development. In fact you can get more specific and emphasize it was Protestant in essence. The questioning of catholic orthodoxy by Hus, Wycliffe Luther and others was critical in in the revolution in how people saw themselves and their relationship with church and king.
