I think laws regarding stuff like that vary by state. Some prohibit “Scalping” within so many feet of the stadium, etc. There are more ways to choke a dog, without using sausage- here's an example of how some got around it last year: Personally, I've always felt it's a matter of supply and demand. If someone has a ticket and another is willing to pay $500.00 over face value, so be it. I think it was the '97 game against Auburn that I walked and walked for tickets. It was my wife's first game and everyone told me I'd never get them. Passed up one guy who said he wanted $300.00. I said for TWO tickets? He said, "No apiece". I passed and later got two for $100.00.
Here's the audio from the Rivals radio show on August 9th where they interviewed the rep from ticketcity.com. As I was cutting it down I noticed they talked briefly about the LSU-VT game too so I've included that. The Ticketcity.com guy makes some interesting comments about the LSU-Bama tickets that I tried to summarize from memory in my previous post. Now you can hear it! Who knows? The outcome of that game could be Mississippi State's ticket to Atlanta. Might as well think big. Go Dawgs! ClaraDawg
I find it ridiculous that LSU vs Tulane is on that list considering that the Sept. 29th game vs the Green Wave is the ONLY road game that is STILL NOT SOLD OUT!!!!!! Going to a broker for that game is a waste!
If Moo U goes to Atlanta this year, it will be because Croom wanted to take the team on a field trip....Make sure he gets all the tickets together so you don't get laughed right out of the state. If Miss. State wins the West this year, I'll wear a freak'n cowbell around my neck till the start of 2008.
Last part sounds good to me. "MSU" was picked last in preseason in the SEC West in 1998 and went to Atlanta, so we have been there/done that when no one thought we could. I will not agree to wear a "Tiger" around my neck though if we do not go to Atlanta this year. That would be too much. Go Dawgs! Clara Dawg
Sucker bet if I ever saw one. You have nothing to fear Um I think you should agree to do something though. It would be the gentleman thing to do.
How about he should have to start a thread for every scoring drive LSU has and give the play by play. One each day. On Gene's page and on TF.
Based on my previous prediction, we are only talking two touchdown scoring drives for the "Tigers," so will only be two threads involved. Go "Dawgs"! ClaraDawg
