Yep. First thing that came to mind. He claimed he was "hacked". Perhaps he was...by Luther Davis.

    a second Yahoo story:

Ties between former Alabama player and agents documented by text messages

"A sixth player – Crimson Tide safety Mark Barron – was also discussed in text message records obtained by Yahoo Sports, including an exchange following the 2011 season where Davis and Simms talk of attempting to recoup $8,000 from the player."

"Text messages also reference Alabama defensive tackle Josh Chapman"

and to think, this story breaks today, on Bear Bryant's birthday (it would have been his 100th birthday, he was born September 11, 1913)

    Fox 6 WBRC -- Birmingham
Today is a special day for Alabama football fans. September 11 is former Alabama football coach Paul "Bear" Bryant's birthday. Bryant would have been 100 years old today.

Yahoo's investigative reporting is always thorough and accurate.

They broke the story on the U that brought that University to it's knees. Also the Joe Paterno stuff.

    So this is big time.

    AL.com:

Nick Saban will address reporters (any minute now) in a regularly scheduled post-practice news conference. Texas A&M will still be a topic, but the investigation involving D.J. Fluker and Luther Davis will likely be the focus.

Click here for live streaming video of the news conference.
