Brooks WAS a great, until he tore up his knee. I put him in the category of unrealized potential due to injury. Was Duhe a DL? Did the Dolphins move him to LB? If you're correct, I withdraw my suggestion.
It's kind of sad that Matt Mauck holds the single season TD record and led us to one of our 2 national titles but is getting no respect. (I personally wouldn't put him up there either. Hodson and Y.A. Tittle.) :dis: And how about Cecil Collins at RB:hihi: . Maybe not, but the kid did have talent.
We've done this before and most of the young guys pick players they have seen in the last five years. That is understandable, but an all-time team must include the stars of yesteryear, many of who were All-Americans and hall-of-famers.
