Nope, the guy left the same year Faulk stayed. Everyone thought that Kevin would leave, he stayed and this guy left.

Hint, he just retired from the NFL......

Well then it had to be before that, because Mauck left early that year also didn't he? Well, maybe not early but still had eligibility left.

This was a solid class that made DiNardo look good when he brought back the magic. I remember with special fondness Tory James, Eddie Kennison, Gabe Northern, and Sheddrick Wilson.

And I still cannot believe the Cowboys took LaFleur as their 1st round pick!

speaking of busts. He was a complete bust in the NFL but while at LSU he had the best hands I can remember from a TE.

KRags will do just fine with these guys. Take a look at the Spring game stats, this will tell you something about the play-makers KRags plans to use.

The names Boone, Ware, Blue, Shepard, Randle and Gore stuck out. Those 6 had over 400 All Purpose Yards. Remember Gore and Blue played on both teams. Those 6 had around 50 touches with the ball.

Fobbs, D-Pete, Wright and Williams are also in the mix.

Dave was a great guy. Sometimes you just get burnt out. I talked with Dave a few years back at a LSU Recruiting Bash. Hes doing well.
