Not so fast. It was LSU that exposed Bama's weak offensive line during the second half of our game. That gave AU the blueprints to dominate Bama. AU coaches needed only to apply those blueprints that we provided. It was those blueprints that enabled AU to have short drives for touchdowns. We had the same type of field position in the second half but we obviously weren't as successful taking advantage of it as AU was.

Yes, I'm sorry. We owe the Iron Bowl win to the fighting LSU tigers...my bad. :dis:

They took you to OT. You didn't expose anything.

you cannot say that LSU didn't weaken your opponent.

Brodie might have nightmares for the rest of his life... dreams in purple, gold, red, and blue... hahaha

This game didn't come down to horses, it was a result of a philosophy. You have to realize, I've said very openly since the beginning of our spring camp we were looking at 7 W's in the season. Like you, I was wrong about UT. I wasn't wrong about UF though. I also thought we'd drop one to either Arkansas or South Carolina.

What cost this game is the same thing I've been pointing at for over a year now.

It's was Ole Miss that first took the OL to task by bull rushing the line on a national scale. However, and red55 can attest to this, I had several articles written in the pre-season talking about how this technique was going to cost us.

I can understand why you would say that, it's just a point I haven't brought up problems along the lines of Bama's staff on this forum...since it's an LSU forum.

As to my complaints with this staff, I've had them since year one.

On the same line of thought...without Ole' Miss, MSU and UT games you wouldn't have been bull rushing our line in the second half of our game.

    The point of claiming credit...

Our Oline was not "exposed" in any game all season...They were "exposed" before the season ever started. Talk around Tuscaloosa was whether the Oline would be able to hang...

When Closner went down, it was a shot. It was no secret before the season we had a weak Oline, and the Closner injury just weakened it even more.

We were "exposed" before the season ever started.
