I am kinda torn between opinions right now. I can't decide on whether to swallow my pride and chew on my severe hatred for all thing AU and pray for God to make them lose somehow.....OR.....cheer for them to win out and freakin kill USC, who I hate equally as much if not more, in the Orange Bowl since they are the only SEC team that has a legit shot (if UGA doesn't kill AU twice this season).

As everyone that loves LSU football saw up until now, UGA gets up to play when they want to. They had revenge in their brain since last year and they looked past all of the cupcake games at the beginning of the season up to us. That is the reason they nearly lost all of them. They get to our game, and granted we aren't the stud unstoppable force we were last year, but we're not a bunch of pushovers either. They freakin killed us in every aspect of the game. They accomplished their main objective for the season and sat back on it going into the Tennessee game....that is why they lost there.

I said all that to say this.....If AU makes it to UGA undefeated and UGA wins until then....and UGA realizes the importance of the game, UGA will annahilate AU if they want it bad enough. If they do this, it will greatly help their ranking and if they meet AU in the SECCG and do it again, they may have a shot at the NC if some key losses happen. Which would put a UGA team that I almost like (if it weren't for all the plugs...i.e: David Greene, David Pollack, Fred Gibson), showing the most overrated team in the nation from the most overrated conference in the nation how to play football.

    WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! :thumb: :lsug: :champs:

Lot of wishful thinkin going on here. UGAy is in no way going to beat Auburn....just take a look at the history of the series...3 in a row hasn't happened for a while. I can't believe some of you would rather pull for the mullettail mutts from the east than our rival from the west.

Please substantiate this claim. Be specific.

Auburn is running effectively, passing effectively and is in the top five nationally in scoring defense.

How exactly is Georgia "more complete"?

The schedule shapes up well, but don't count out Auburn, Oklahoma or Wisconsin from the mix. Also watch out for Florida State to keep moving up and up and up the charts.

Rationally, what other team can be chosen at this point? The Virginia Tech - Miami winner will probably be in New Orleans, but no one's playing better in all areas than the Sooners are.

With no conference championship game, the chances for the Canes to lose in another tough late game isn't there like it is for Georgia and Oklahoma. Miami will have to face Virginia Tech, but the Hokies come to the Orange Bowl.

Well well, the lovefest has hit a boiling point on the AU insiders board. The Aubies are fighting among themselves whether or not to argue with USC or bow to them. Check out the thread about joining the big boys. It's a real treat. This is indeed going to be fun... at least until the aubies lose a game.
