I'll believe it when Woodward announces it in the presser announcing the new coach. I don't put a lot of stock in what coaches say to the media.

Lincoln Riley is not going to be the next coach of the LSU Tigers. You can get sucked into this nonsense if you wish but you will end up disappointed

 

I think that is pretty definitive. While Nick was talking about “plans” and what not, Riley was very clear. “I’m not gonna be the next coach at LSU.”
