Hard to be a good coordinator when you don’t have the talent. Neither Sam Darnold nor Scam Newton are good QBs and Carolina’s best offensive player (Christian McCaffrey) has been hurt most of the season. But to add to your point, many (Kikicaca being a notable exception) have given Brady all the credit, failing to recognize Ensminger’s contributions to success of the offense. Brady provided the innovation, but Ensminger’s experience made the difference. They worked well as a team.

SW has always shown that he was up to the job. However, this is his most important hire yet, and I’m pretty sure he feels the same. There are alarms blaring every which way to Sunday school though.
