"The Catch"-- Should be "The Call"

I was just in a mall in Alabama- One of those cheezy frame shops that have lots of sports prints, etc.

They had a large print titled "The Catch" showing the Aubarn receiver catching the ball in front of C Webster. I thought it should have been "The Call," showing the Barner kicker shanking the PAT and the zebra throwing the flag. :angryfire

 

In Auburn, "The Catch" most likely refers to a venereal disease...

 

Let them look at that picture though next year and their 7 total wins

 

Thats a little low there. I don't see why some of you guys just can't let Auburn be happy with the year they had. I'm also tired of hearing about the official blowing the call. Yes, the call wasnt very good, but yes the Tigers gave up a 4th and 12 to let that drive continue.

 

We always talk about "The Call," but I still can't understand how the Auburn field goal was good. I'm not stuck on it, but I just can't see how it was good...

Auburn is a s**thole - it's the open fly of the SEC. Your football program will have a Ryan Leaf-like drop off in the next two years and it couldn't happen to a classier bunch. LSU is going to own Tubs for the rest of this decade and Alabama's program is gaining traction. I hope you Barners enjoyed your run last year. It's a long fall back to second place.

Not to mention that Auburn almost lost its college accreditation last year - WHAT A JOKE...

No one on this forum denies that we gave up a 4th and long several times this year. That was setteled on the field by the players. The call on the other hand was handled on the field by the officials.
