The concert thread

Katy Perry was actually really entertaining. My girls loved it, but Mom enjoyed it immensely, too.

 

For 800+ dollars I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have to be honest, thank goodness for Google as I have no idea who she is. If my grand daughter were here I'm sure she could tell me everything I need to know as she usually does lol.

And she will be the celebrity picker on Gameday in 90 minutes.

 

I've heard her name but I don't have any idea who she is either. I once paid $15 a ticket to see the Rolling Stones

 

Well she was in the grove on college gameday and did the corn dog bit. I am sure you are no longer enamored with her...

 

She did what the producers told her to do. She didn't have a clue as to the significance.

 

I always liked Bill Cosby but he used to do Coca Cola commercials. Back in the 80's Coke came out with New Coke and said they were going to stop bottling the old formula Coke. New Coke tasted like shit and a lot of people including me were very upset about losing our beloved cola. I lost all respect for Bill Cosby when he did a commercial and said "New Coke tastes better."

 

Saw Night Ranger a couple of weeks ago at one of the local casinos. They put on a good show. After everyone got a few beers on board, the band and crowd really started getting into it. By the end, everyone was on their feet singing along with the band. I had a really good time!

 

Did they have any song besides "Sister Christian" or did they just continuously loop that one?

 

No they didn't. But, they could have! They actually released a new album recently. It's not too bad. Played all the oldies of course. And a couple of the new ones.
