    Speaking of fantasy literature, I always thought Yahweh, Ba'al, Lot, Amaziah, Job, Abednego, Ham, and Gad were kind of silly.

    It has been remarked that in Tolkein, the dwarves sound and act like the Scottish, the Elves like the Welsh, the Hobbits like the English, the Rohirrim like the Vikings, and the Gondorians like the Romans.

    I think the orcs must be like the Arabs. :D
