Your list says LSU won the West twice. In Miles first season 2005 LSU won the west played Georgia in the SEC Championship game and lost.

2007 LSU won the West and played Tennessee and won and eventually won the national championship

And 2011 LSU won the West played Georgia and won and I forget what happened after that.

Yeah, AU is a bunch of chumps who have achieved what Miles has in terms of the ultimate stat, nc wins/participation.

Misread my list. SECC W means championship win; list below is appearances.

Auburn has weathered some rough waters surprisingly well, I thought. Of course, they pay their players, but they're smart enough to keep the NCAA at bay (for the most part). $cam-gate will forever piss me off and curb my respect for the barners.

Cheating aside, I think au has been one of the best programs in the nation (I didn't give as much credit before looking at data).

Sorry, I was going on memory, an at my age........you know.

I'm glad to tell you I was wrong, the 4 years with gus being the OC and HC at the barn, he has averaged 16.25 ppg. At this same time, LSU's offense has averaged 32 ppg. It was a 21-0 lead in the first half this year.

Having looked back at the stats, you're gonna like this one. First half went like this:

    9 plays Fumble
    4 plays over on downs
    3 plays punt
    5 plays punt
    2 plays Int
    7 plays downs
    4 plays Punt
    3 plays Punt

Thats it, nothing more to say, they could have extended the first half for another Hr and a half and barn wouldn't have seen the end zone.
The closest they got to the end zone before the half, was when they ran by it going into the locker room. In fact, the closest they got was to the LSU 42 yd line.

They were 1-8 on 3rd downs
    0-3 on 4th down conversions.

Like I said, LSU played 53 players that game, 23 players had tackles in the stat box.

When barn did get a score, LSU matched them score for score, till the end of the game.

Is this the same game you're talking, the same offense?

Maybe Chief has their number, maybe we got lucky, maybe it was our day?

It looked to me and others, that LSU called off the dogs in the second half. Playing RR, Dwayne Thomas, LaCouture, White, Eugene, etc.

I too, not getting into a pissing match.
