Dallas Morning News reports this about D1 AA teams and the BCS

The final margin could be so close, the results of a Division I-AA playoff game could determine who plays Oklahoma. Colgate beat Western Illinois, 28-27, on Saturday. Western Illinois lost to LSU this season, and two of the computer rankings factor in results of I-AA opponents.

    What Bullshit!

The Boise State win is not necessary, but it allows LSU to finish 3rd in NYTimes poll and still beat USC for 2nd in the BCS.

A Boise State loss and we have to rely on NYTimes to place us above USC (65-70 percent chance as I see it now).

Put simply, Boise State wins and we can rest easy tonite. They lose and you guys can squirm in your sleep all nite long.

About the computer polls affected by Div I-AA

and from what I understand it is 2 that we need. NYT and one other(I think Wolfe) However Wolfe predicted us ahead of USC with a Syracuse win.

Wolfe is now ours, he was projecting 2nd for LSU with just LSU winning. The Notre Dame loss helps even more and a Hawaii loss seals it for sure. I think we have this poll even if Hawaii wins.

NYTimes is up in the air now more than ever......it is unsure if OU will drop to 2nd, 3rd, maybe even 4th (OU would throw this computer poll out and still end up 1.0 in computer poll avg.)

Worst scenario for LSU......USC, OU, LSU in the NYTimes poll. LSU would throw out this poll and finish with 2.0, but USC will have a #1 computer poll ranking, and their computer poll average would be 2.67. LSU would end up #3 in the BCS.

I'm not gonna "TRUST YOU" blindly that

OKLA will stay at #3 AP/ESPN
OKLA will stay at #1 Computer Polls

and I sure as hell don't see how USC gets 3.0 Computer points
while LSU gets exactly 12 points & a 2.0 Computer Poll Rank with that PHUKKING "SYBIL" of a GD POLL CALLED THE NYT ... and even the Wolfe ... for that matter ... hell, even the "experts" are guessing.

Tellshow ain't talking ... Palm is playing Footsie ... Edwards is all deadpan and "probably" ...

THAT SOS & last two polls could swing either way if Hawaii wins ... IT LOOKS TO BE within .10 points ... too freaking close for comfort. It looks like it would just take one extra poll and a Hawaii win to PHUCK LSU.

It still looks to be a photo finish with me not going to bed for 36 hours now.

    How bout it, ISL?

Nope, the "precedent" is that they only go to the back of the 1 loss teams.

K State makes a HUGE jump though...Kinda like us in '01.
