i agree there's some truth to that but its totally exaggerated. the reason the florida game had a dead atmosphere was because it was obvious our offense wasn't gonna score with matt mauck looking like crap. fans had nothing to cheer about except a skyler punt return.

it was a boring ass lethargic day game. I still hate day games. I always will.

That is the mindset that can get a team (like LSU) in trouble. NEVER LOOK PAST AN OPPONENT!!!!!! When a team (such as LSU) does that, that's when those, "push over" teams (such as UNT) can bite that partiucular team (such as LSU) in the ass!! Remember the year the team previously mentioned (LSU) beat #1 Florida and lost the next week to Ole Miss. The team mentioned (LSU) must take the season ONE game at a time!!!

North Texas is a damn fine football team. They have a can run and have potential. LSU will dominate them with sound defence because they (the team (LSU)) will PREPARE for them the same way they prepare for every other team (opponents of LSU).

Sorry for the Pronoun Antecedent Error(s)

so why were you telling him to "NEVER LOOK PAST AN OPPONENT", given he's a poster on an internet forum?

They're all tough teams out there.

    Hell, I'M scared!

That's why we play them one game at a time.

I'm not sure we could beat all of them if we had to play all eleven opponents at the same time.

They put on their pants one leg at a time, just like we do.

If they were gymnasts instead of football players,
they could jump into their pants.

Anybody, anywhere, at any time can beat anybody/anything else.

That's why the smart money is on Tyson for his next fight.

We have to show up every Saturday.

    Of COURSE we do.
If not, there wouldn't be a game to watch.

They're a team to watch out for.

Nobody else thinks they're worth a crap,
but we're the ones that have to play 'em.

How many people here have SEEN UNT play? ANyone? Raise your hand.. I have.. and I can tell you that LSU could field their second team O and D with no preparation and beat this team.. UNT got trounced by Texas, Colorado, and Baylor, and had to struggle to beat FAU (correction, they got beat by FAU) before running the table in the Sun Belt, then getting killed again in the New Orleans Bowl by a middle of the road CUSA team. And this years team isnt nearly as good as last years. Yeah, they have to runners who run all over the Sun Belt, which is known to have worst defenses in the country... the great (for the Sun Belt) o-line they had last year is pretty much gone, and so is their QB, who, when i saw him, definately played with guts, but hey, he's gone... If LSU even lets UNT come within 21 points of them at the final gun, then Miles should retire and go jump off the Huey P. Long Bridge.

I'VE seen UNT play. They are competitive in their conference (in the last three or four years), and they get trounced by their opponents from larger conferences. But I give them credit for having the guts to strap it on against the big guys.
