I know you are a fellow football freak... I watch every bowl that I can, but most normal people skip the New Orleans Bowl...
Since we seem to be playing Pac-10 teams now, does anyone think that LSU could possibly play, oh, i don't know,... USC somewhere down the road.
I figured I'd use a basketball term because I've never heard of the term 12th man. At least not without getting flagged and a 10 yd penalty.
sure... in january... in pasedena... about 3 hours before we're celebrating our second championship in 3 years
Why should LSU schedule any top teams for non-conference.. if they schedule middle of the road teams like C-USA and MAC teams, then any SOS rating would show them toward the top simply because they play in the SEC... LSU's priority is to win the SEC.. you dont play grueling non-conference games that may jeopardize that.. teams like USC can play good non-conference teams because they might have one or two decent teams in their league at any time...
if you live on the west coast, you'd say the same thing about the SEC... as open minded as west coast guys are supposed to be they're really closed-minded... they honestly believe the best football is played in the pac 10... another thing, didnt they agree to take s.o.s. out of the BCS for this year? maybe I heard bad info or something...? really hurts the SEC Big 12 and big 10... acc too I guess... stupid pac 10... pretty soon we're gonna get a chance to see USC vs Boise St. in the nat'l championship cause they'll be the only undefeated teams...
