1. When have you ever felt confident in LSU's ability?

We're 3-0 again, like we are every year, and one day, that will not be the case anymore. Enjoy it.

Of course, the SEC is going to be stouter, but we've cut our teeth on some weaker competition, and we're ready to knock it out with the big boys. Have some fun.

  2. You can bet Cam hasn't showed his teeth yet. We havent had too and no reason to give coming up DCs anything to prepare for. We have a few bugs on defense but Chavis will get that straightened out. You can tell the difference Studs made to the OL now that he is back on the line.
We are fixing to hit the meat of the schedule and that's what we're going to do. Hit it right in the mouth.

  3. Right. We're doing what good teams are supposed to do and mutilating the weaker foes. No one expects that sort of ease in the conference, but it certainly tells me that we're ready for the step-up in competition. I remember just a year ago we were having a lot more trouble putting away the cupcakes.

  4. You're going to laugh but ... Jarett Lee. He was in the top 5 for most of 2011 in passing efficiency.

And CCC found the fix to our punting problems, we just score every possession and never have to punt.

  5. I don't laugh at that. I cry with how 2011 was handled.

man that is clueless about football. Anybody who has ever played football can tell you why. Class?
  7. From this weekend in the SEC.

Good... Alabama's offense doesn't look as scary.
Bad... LSU defense may have some trouble containing Womanziel
Ugly... College football in Austin, TX. Congrats Rebs for putting another nail in Brown's coffin.

  8. Based on everything we've seen to date, defensive struggles appear to be a common theme amongst all of the SEC frontrunners. aTm, bama, UGA, and SoCar have both given up tons of yardage at some point or another. We're sitting at #10 nationally in total D, but we've yet to face a legitimate offense. I don't consider Florida a frontrunner, but I also think their defense has benefitted from weak competition to date.

  9. I would hope that when the level of the opponent rises, so too will our level of intensity and "want" to make the tackle. I'm a little worried but will sit back and observe for now.

Mainly because I really don't have any other options.
