Barnhart told
The Tim Brando Show that the score was "misleading" and that LSU "dominated" in the
35-21 win over Auburn.
"What team in America has guys like
Kenny Hilliard and
Alfred Blue as their Nos. 2, 3, 4 at running back?" Barnhart asked. "It's just amazing how deep they are. The score was very misleading because LSU dominated that game. At halftime, I think every one decided to go to cocktail hour and not come back."
Barnhart did make it a point to let the listeners know how he felt about
Gus Malzahn's team.
"I will give Auburn a lot of credit for hanging in there," Barnhart said. "They could've folded up the tent.
"But you sit there and look at LSU. (QB
Zach) Mettenberger is playing the best game of his life, they're deep at running back, they're good at offensive line.
Odell Beckham and
Jarvis Landry are as good a set of wide receivers as anybody in America has, and you know the defense is going to be good.
"I think Georgia has their hands full on Saturday."
