Do me a favor, and congratulate the gophers on beating an Arkansas team that has won a grand total of 2 bowl games in the last 20 years. I mean this is friggin Arkansas we're talking about.
Oh and pass it on to the gophers that I'm real impressed with that big 4 point victory over a BAMA team whose only win vs a team with a winning record that year was USM. (nothing like using a victory over 4-7 1AA W. Carolina to become bowl eligible BAMA)

Good question. That's why I never mad any comments about dominance.

I did say that the top of the Big Ten is better than the top of the SEC for the sheer result of these bowl games, though it is dependent on OSU beating UF next Monday. However, as I said the conferences are even in overall strength which is why this argument will continue over and over and over again.

Yes, it was the same year that the Goofies became eligible with wins over Toledo, Illinois State and Colorado State... then lost five of their last six conference games to limp into Nashville to play "Bear Bryant" and the dancing elephants.

It's what college football is all about.

So in essence, we're arguing about two high school caliber teams battling it out in a 4 point game? :hihi:
God I love college football. :thumb:
