You must not have done very much while there. I thought the Bama tailgating was great all around the campus.
Perhaps I did miss a lot of the experience, because we had to stick with each other as a group... It was fun, but I know Baton Rouge would have been 100 times more rowdy had the game been played here
The biggest joke is that all those Ole Piss fans are inbreds that live in trailers but like to play dress up on a few weekends a year and pretend that they are the owners of Tara Plantation. How pathetic! What a bunch of losers. :geauxtige
While at LSU, a group of us made the trip, and had some Ole Miss guys hosting us. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome (including, food and drinks provided!) They insisted that we not bring a thing. However, when we got to their tailgate spot, we were stunned/horrified to see they had ONE 18 pack of beer. ONE. There were at least 8 of US, not to mention the Ole Miss fans we were hanging out with. They thought that was PLENTY, which it was...for one of us. So, we said, well, we've gotta go to the store. They thought we were crazy for leaving b/c it was cutting into the tailgating time, which isn't a big deal when the beer's gone. We returned with a half dozen suitcases, and everything was right in the world. Other than being in the Grove.
I just made it back from Ole Miss, I had a great time inspite of hanging out in the grove half of the day. You only need two words to describe it, cluster ****. You could walk 30 feet away from your tent and never find your way back. The fact that everyone there dressed exactly the same sure didn't help matters either. Did anyone see the LSU guy that went over to the guy with the No Kissing sign and start dancing/grinding on him? I was about to die laughing.
LOL!!!! :hihi: Hey man, I just told the story as I saw it. Besides, I owed you for your latest gray hair comment......
