Folks: This performance by our offense just gave the Hogs a big emotional boost. They now think that LSU is not a scoring machine and can be beaten when the offense sputters. The Hogs have been preparing for this game since they beat South Carolina on that Thursday night game. Houston Nutt knows that he can salvage his season and secure his job by beating LSU and finishing 9-3 in the regular season. We haven't seen the LSU offence play an A game since the La Tech game! It is time to bring back the A game on offense and defense for this Friday against the Hogs!! :geaux: :lsug:
Nick will have them ready. I'm not overly concerned, for some reason. Maybe it's because the last time we came out this flat, we annihilated South Carolina the week after. My main worry is that it's a short week and this was a physical game.
They better bring their "A" game...I'm flying all the way back down to go to the game next week!!! Arkansas is run-oriented, that is not a secret. We need to come out and play like we did tonight on defense and Mauck has GOT to get his head screwed on straight again. He looked like he was "pressing" the entire game--trying too hard to make something great happen. His back-peddling with the rush in his face and then throwing off his back foot HAS GOT to STOP!!! --He's smarter than that. He needs a swift kick in the arse after his performance tonight--but not too hard, 'cause we still need him healthy for the Hogs!
Looks like we got a good one... this coming Friday. Just hope we can keep running downhill against that LSU defense. GO HOGS GO!!
Everyone's been licking there chops for us this year. But only 1 team has been successful all year. Our D is for Real so Ark better watch out.
