I hope you don't mind me answering your question. They play in a weak, almost dead conference. Big 12 aint what it use to be. :nope: :dis:
Auburn had it's chance to make a statement for a split title instead they said 16-13 ovet VT. No way no how does AU deserve any share of the title.
I agree that excluding USC the PAC 10 is weak overall. USC is awfully damn strong tonight. As much as I despise them, I'll reluctantly admit they are putting an old fashioned, take 'em behind the barn, ass whuppin on the Sooners.
I've argued the same thing, but the truth is that we will never know, which is a damn shame. Hindsight is clearly 20/20 and with that hindsight, it is obvious that this game should have featured AU v. USC. Give Pete Carroll some credit. I suspect he had his team believing that everyone thought they were fake champions for over a year now, and that now was their time to unload that frustration. As for OU, I don't know what the hell they brought with them tonight. They just can't play in the big game. This is the second embarassment in a row for them. While they did end up making it a game with LSU last year, they are so done at halftime this year. There won't be any coming back. Now I have to listen to these aholes out here talk as if LSU didn't win squat last year. Aargh. :cuss:
