The injuries began for AU

    Injuries on the offensive line happen a lot, unfortunately. LSU lost two guards last season. LSU is not as deep this year on the OL and cannot afford that kind of injury rate in 2006. I'm not sure about Auburn's offensive line depth yet.

    Not true, Tuberville has been quoted to saying that the defense will be the same under his guidance... Muschamp just brings a few new ideas to the table and can make better gametime adjustments.

    Under Muschamp, you will still see the 4-3 defense that Tuberville demands, just a litte bit more aggressive. Same terminology is used and the same set ups are still there.

    Turns out Cope's injury is just a mild knee sprain. He'll be back practicing in a couple of days.

    Another AU Linebacker is gone for a while. Steve Gandy appears to be out with complications from a deep thigh bruise. Haven't seen anything confirmed, but we are hearing that the LSU game is out.
