Some nimrods just think that making the same dumb joke over and over again somehow adds to a serious discussion. This ain't a redneck bar, Earl.

Shane was in Pampers when they did that. We have a long memory and they do too. We staged a coup of their democratically elected government in 1946 and installed a pro-US puppet in The Shah. They got them some payback in 1979, but boy has it cost them.

Since then we have shot down one of their civilian airliners, sank half their pathetic navy after they laid some mines in the Gulf, and supported Saddam to fight a ten year war against them in which they lost more casualties than we lost in WWII. They take those losses very seriously. We have imposed unprecedented sanctions to censure Iran starting 36 years ago and ratcheted them up twice since then. We have crippled their economy and ruined their international trade and diplomatic reputation. I think we have gotten plenty of payback for the hostage crisis.

My point stands, the terrorists they sponsor in Palestine (Hamas and Hezbollah) plague Israel, not America. The terrorists that actually attack Americans (Al Qaeda, Taliban, and ISIS) are enemies of Iran as well as America. Iran actually permitted US warplanes to cross Iranian airspace to attack Al Qaeda and Taliban forces in Afghanistan! We have permitted Iranian warplanes to cross Iraq to attack ISIS flying old American Phantom jets! Not to mention Ronald Reagan traded them TOW missiles to get more American hostages released. We have a background in making deals with these guys. Mostly by making them offers they can't refuse.

So instead of funding our enemies they have grudgingly given up their nuclear weapon program in return for better relations with us. They know by now it is their only path to a better future. They are not entering into this agreement just to mess around with it and see us start fucking them up for another 36 years with them essentially helpless to do anything about it. Make no mistake, they are doing this because it is in their best national interests to find a better path to the future. War with America and Israel is the last thing they need. And they know it.

Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew to be a mighty warrior on the Earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; that is why it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.” The centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Erech, Akkad and Calneh in Shinar (Genesis 10:8-10).

I'd be more comfortable if the Ayatollah slept with the fishes.

Per the WAPO this morning it sounds like there are two (or more) secret annexes to the agreement that the O man has not even seen and will never see. Uhmmmmm!

We don't trust and now we cannot verify!

Are you referring to the blog? Jennifer Rubin writes the Right Turn blog for The Post, offering opinion from a conservative perspective.

As has been reported previously, Iran and the IAEA announced the signing of "a confidential roadmap" on the same day that Iran and the P5+1 countries – Russia, China France, Britain, the US and Germany – successfully concluded talks in Vienna and finalized the JCPOA.

They are not secret "annexes" to the JCPOA, but entirely another agreement between the International Atomic Energy Agency and Iran. They do not modify the JCPOA. The US is a member of the IAEA which also reports to the UN Security Council, so even confidential agreements should not be secrets to US officials. They just are not reported publicly.
