    He's a clown, but he's also smart, like Huckabee. Trump knows that he's milked this for all the PR he's going to get. He was going to get the lightweight treatment like Sarah Palin for the duration. He was never going to submit to examination of his financial records. You have to figure that he's got way too much dirt that will come to light if he really ran.

    Obama is going to be re-elected in 2010. The smart republicans know this. Huckabee has a huge campaign chest that he's not going to squander. He's going to save it for 2016. No republican interested in 2016 wants to be the guy that lost to Obama in 2012.

    I am sure at least 5 teams in the SEC really believe they will win it all while only 1 can....

    Yes. Because a dude with a long history of ethics problems is exactly what the Republicans should run with.

    I'm not talking about the dude's numerous marital infidelities. That is a whole other strike against him to some people. I am talking about 75+ ethics violations that were levied against him when he was the Speaker of the House.


    All of the Republican front runners seem like they would be as bad as Obama or worse. I am hoping someone rises from the Republicans or a third party, because the thought of a Palin or Gingrich led ticket is horrible. At least Trump is out.
