Arnold Palmer is celebrating his 85th birthday today. The Golf Channel is airing specials on Arnie tonight. I'm sure they will be replayed. While doing some TV work for CBS in the '90s and early 2000s, I had the pleasure of spending 10 minutes on the tee of a front 9 par 3 at Southern Hills in Tulsa OK in 1994 with Arnie. It was easy to see why the fans loved him. Happy Birthday Arnie and hope you have many more.
You're not the only golfer, most of us are working! The only reason I can check in right now is because I took a couple days off.
