cparso said the same about St. Julien in another thread so thats probably a good barometer if we need someone to greyshirt.

So where do we go from here? Who is on our radar? Deandre Brown, McClain, Lavar Edwards, Bryant? Or maybe another unexpected surprise after the championship game.

Currently sitting at 23 looking to sign 27-28. Im seeing Deandre Brown, DeAngelo Benton, Lavar Edwards, and TJ Bryant. The big question is still TB. Gotta still be an unknown out there. Hearing a lot about Dean.

I think we will sign 28, maybe even 29 (2 greyshirts?).

    DBrown (5 star) - 60 percent
    Benton (5 star) - 100 percent
Bryant (high 4 star DB) - 40 percent (does he come now that we have Johnson?)
Dean (4 star RB) - unknown
McCray (4 star LB) - unknown
McCray (4 star DT) - unknown
Jones (4 star OT) - unknown
Edwards (3 star DE) - 100 percent (but will he get an offer?)

How do you figure? We have Keiland, Scott, Murphy, and Ridley all returning next season.

I think Ridley will be a FB.

So yes, with only 3 pure RBs, we should nab a RB. And then you're looking at someone like Williams or Scott turning Pro as a Junior if they have a breakout season. We can't go into 09 without experience.

ridley will be used like jacob hester. if you don't remember from the spring ridley was the most productive running back in spring practices.

on top of that we have quinn johnson and shawn jordan at fb with ridley splitting time at that position.

so no, we don't need a running back in this class and don't be surprised that we don't sign one considering they'd know we'd only be signing them for depth in a position where there's already plenty of depth.
