I think Biden understands that it's not particularly popular, and that's why he's going to limit the amount. I'm generally in favor of people abiding contracts they sign, people paying for their own children (i.e. no tax credits per child), and people paying for their own religion (i.e. no government subsidies and sponsorships).

If he's going to pay off student loans, he needs to give money to all those that paid theirs back and to those that worked through school and didn't take loans. Then pay off mortgages and car loans too. Then he needs to pay for everyone's cell phones and internet service. Then he needs to send everyone $1,000 a month so they can buy groceries. Then he needs to give everyone a condo at the beach and a cabin in the mountains.........
