a lot of Tiger fans say the days of the long ball are gone. I belive the recent coaching staff could not get the kids that have long ball power.
after watching the SR this weekend North Carolina and South Carolina have plenty of pop in the bats. Mabe next staff can get these types of kids and bring back geauxrilla ball!

Look at the season homerun totals for these guys, none of them are near what the best HR hitters used to have and most weren't near what Ryan P had last year, and Quinn Stewart was third/fourth in the country this year in homeruns per game, so I ain't buying what you are selling.

Right before that guy from NC State swung, I said no way he hits two big home runs back to back. So much for statistics. Right before he hit it, my dad said they should walk him. Oh well.

The days of long ball baseball ended when the NCAA changed the dimensions of the bats.

i do not agree, It just takes having more than 1 kid on your team that can hit em out the park (Quinn S.).
Overall numbers are not as high due to the bats. Still teams that are winning have 5 or 6 guys that can go yard on any pitch. Ole Miss is a perfect example of a team that has a lot of power. Much more than LSU. (now lets see how many of you can disprove that.)
