Looters are pouring out of the nearby housing projects and looting anything they can until the National Guard arrives. Insurance will cover the lost inventory. Reports of this will get out and New Orleans will be disgraced. If you look at what's happening, it's poor black folks taking food & clothes that are willing to risk arrest and being shot by authorities, owners or security. Very sad.
i guess thats what typically happens, but there was the famous case of thec boston pd killing a fan after the world series last year. went through her eye, ouch!
these people are really smart. they live in the housing project so more than likely they all have an EBT card that allows them to get food for "free" anyway. I guess they are justifying it because they can't get the state to pay for their alcohol. DAMN THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saw her x-rays. She came to the hospital I work at. It was a total shame what happened to that poor girl... Even more sad is that at this point, if that would happen to a looter, I can't say that I would feel the same remorse.
