We have a course here in Houston called Tour 18, that re-created the 18 greatest holes in golf in the US. They have Amen Corner recreated, did a damn good job. I've played it a few times, tough course.

More importantly, what are the 18?

I assume the 17th at Sawgrass made the cut?

Here is a "tour" of the course, hole by hole. Green fee runs around $75. The course used to cater to corporate events (scrambles) and you could get on if the scramble was not full. Two tee times per day. I haven't played out there in 5 years, so call and see what the deal is now.

    Tour 18 Houston

Harbor Town sued Tour 18 for infringing their "lighthouse", which was a cheap replica, so Tour 18 went out with a circular saw and "cut it down to size" so it no longer resembles the other lighthouse. :nope:

My boy Mickelson had a great day today.

Was 6 inches from 3 straight eagles, which I assume would have been a PGA record. The 2 straight eagles on 13 and 14 is a Masters record.

He was interviewed after the round and the interviewer asked how it feels to have his wife back with him on tour (she and his mother have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer in the past couple of years). He said it was awesome and a lot of fun to have the family along with him on the tour again.

What a great family man and stand up guy.

I mean, a realy great husband and father I must say.

In a related story, Tiger Woods was only asked what he thought about his round today.

i wish tiger wouoldnt have bogied 17. too bad. i doubt westwood screws up tomorrow. though, i wouldnt be mad if he did. also i cant wait to see phil and his driver on the back 9 tomorrow.

i like phil and his family a lot. but the rumors that have surrounded phil for the last decade and a half have not exactly been positive.
