another guard from murray st, trae hannibal, is transferring to LSU. was a freshman at south carolina.
That doesn't mean those options will be available now. For example, Efton Reid came to LSU as this highly prized recruit, but his performance exposed a lot of weaknesses. He will still get offers because he's almost 7 feet tall, but it won't nearly be at the level it was before. I would not be surprised to see a lot of players - not just LSU players - return to their original team after they realize that the opportunities they thought were available are not. With the transfer portal and NIL, I think it's safe to say all college athletics is ever changing, sometimes in favor of a particular player but often times not.
i suspect as NIL gets more established they have more opportunity than before. also, generally the players are more valuable than they were as HS recruits, because they are older and more experienced. also you dont know what LSU is offering relative to other programs. and generally competition drives up prices. might as well test your market value.
Looks like McMahon is going to start with a clean slate. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-b...omes-11th-tigers-player-enter-transfer-portal
I hate to see it, but it's probably best for all parties involved. I wonder if starting with a completely new roster is going to play any role with the NCAA's decision when it come to applying punishment.
I don't think that means a hill of beans! I think the fact that Wade and all of his "bosses" (what a chickenshit term) are gone will make much more of a difference.
roster update 1. murray transfer juice hill 2. murray transfer trae hannibal 3. ? maybe me. i would enjoy grad school 4. NW st transfer kendal coleman 5. freshman Corneilous Williams if top transfer KJ williams comes they may be able to beat ole miss and vandy
