I hope Matty does well in BR. He a classy guy and does things the right way. BTW I haven't seen it mentioned but he is an APP STATE guy. Played and coached there. Our previous AD (dumbass) passed on hiring him as head coach. Not sure if that was a big favor to Matt or not. Matt is pretty smart too, I'm sure he passed on those other schools because he wanted a place that could offer better support, better fan base and better opportunity for impact/winning. I think he has that at LSU. Let's see what he can do.

Someone made the argument that scholarship reductions should matter very little in the age of NIL. Seems like it to me. Supposedly state law has changed to make NIL more competitive.
deflection noted. i was talking bout your claim that wade made a poor decision to not cooperate. and specifically your contention that it hurt his career earnings. i contend that he shouldnt cooperate with investigations that would get him fired. i think lawyers would agree with me, as his did. when wade didnt cooperate, he kept earning millions and didnt get fired. 3 more years of a huge salary. bruce pearl didnt cooperate with auburn. look where he is now winning and getting paid.
